Olive Nerite Snails

i got mine at the LFS for $.89ea, he always keeps them in stock. as stated before anywhere from 1.000 to 1.0028(range i've kept mine at) is fine, however if acclimating them to over 1.012 i'd take at least a couple hours of drip acclimation to do so, with longer being better.

12 hour drip from SG1.000 to SG1.010
2 day wait then and another 12 hour drip from SG1.010 to SG1.020~1.023

I went from fresh to 1.014 in an hour with no problems they immediately started eating algae. I think 12 hours is a bit much, because salt conditions in those areas can change in the course of a few minutes.

true, but I usually have some sort of invert that goes along with them.. Usually Red nosed shrimp of which I like the slower drip. I feel its easier to ease them in anyhow...
