so I am guilty! gage guage gauge

so how do u say engage enguage engauge?!

everytime I go over my kids spelling HW, there is so many times I point out this is where the english language is stupid, like 'tion sounds like shun or which witch wich or bear bare or ear air ayre or I b4 e cept after c, but not so in reilly!
 
Ok get a bacon sandwich stat and it will pass
 
OMG you made me think that I was the one who misspelled it :o

People who have an ear for spelling are annoyed by those who don't, the same way people who can sing or play an instrument tunefully are annoyed by those who are tuneless. I can tell you that I don't think about my spelling ever, I am just lucky in that I get it right, most of the time...

If you want to improve your spelling, read more. People with poor spelling often times simply don't read enough.

P.S. And I mean real reading...not texts or Facebook or whatever!

I do have the Firefox speller too :) There are some words like bougainvillea which I will never remember how to spell correctly...for those instances I am very glad there's spell check!
