On The Move Again.

Shekoi

Trying to start up again
 Don't know if anybody can remember, but six months ago i got my own flat so needed advise no moving my tanks.

Now 6 months on the landlord has sold his flat and i'm moving out again!

So back to the mothers until i manage to buy a house!!

i'm unable to take a lot of water this time and i'm intending to move in fish in a tall bucket - what would be the best way to introduce them.

also if i drain my 20g - leaving in plants gravel etc will the plants/ bacteria last couple hours out of water ??- i will leave some in just to wet the gravel, anymore and it will be to heavy to carry.
and will shock of new different water harm them???

Cheers Shekoi.

My small tank is successfully move and fully setup with no problems.

i moved the fish and around 1/3 of the water in a poly box from LFS. i moved the plants and 1/3 water in a large bucket i use for water changes.
all fish seem fine.

Now for the 40g!:%)

1 problem the base needs a little fixing which can only be done when the tank has been removed.

Could i devide the fish form 40g into my 2 spare tanks 10g and 15g just over night? this will allow me to dismantal the tank and fix the base then set up tank with out leaving the fish in bags and boxes.

Cheers shekoi.
