Hello everyone. It's week one into the cycle, how do you think iam doing.
Ammo - in the middle of 0ppm and 0.25ppm, or might just be me. Quite hard to tell.
Nitrite - it was at 0.5, but it has come down to 0.2.
Nitrate - now this was the killer, was peaking at 100ppm, but with a water change has come down to 25ppm.
S/G 1.022
Temp - 24c
Alk - 1.9
Ph - 8.25
What do you guys think, for the past couple of days the nitrate was high, so found a LFS that sell's ro water, which i have now used.
I have lots of little critters in the tank, tiny feather dusters, some type of star-fish,(i can only describe this as a white, very tiny, and likes to stay in the live rock) also some type of worm, could be bristle could be fire not to sure, but very intresting to watch when you spot him, there is a couple of snails in there too, thought they where dead but saw one of them sucking on the live rock today. Also the infamous Aiptasia, which i will deal with, thats all in another thread. But what i dont understand how can all these critters and inverts survive in the tank with a nitrate so high.
