grand rapids MI,
I thought i would give my fish a treat so i bought some black worms. they came in a small plastic cup as i went to dip a small spoonful in i almost stepped on the cat. and in went 2.00 worth of worms that took no time to disappear into the gravel. are they going to hurt anything ?...it was fun watching the fish dive threw the mass of worms like sharks in bloody water :evil_lol:

Agreed with puppet master

acctually.. I have had blackworms living in one of my tanks for a while now

they are an aquatic worm so its not like they will die off and polute the water... fish will snack on them when they come to the surface

a gravel vac will help-- but I honestly wouldnt worry about it.. they will survive and even breed but IME it doesnt hurt anything.. its acctually kinda fun to watch the fish hunting them

If you don't like the thought of a wormy colony in your substrate, vac them up and try feeding them a little more slowly... :D

tx everyone i don't mind the worms i just didn't want them to foul the water
