All I have to say (I saw it yesterday) is don't waste your money on it. I thought it was a horrible movie. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! It is basically just watching 2 people bob up and down in the water for 90 minutes. The only emotion that it pulled from me was slight humor with some of things they said. Definitely not a scary movie. I got the general gist of other movie go'ers thoughts and they were saying the same thing. Waste of time, money, and a horrible movie. Just warning those that want to go see it. Might want to wait till you only have to pay 99c at Blockbuster when it comes out on dvd. Definitely not worth the 6 bucks at the movie theatre. I would be interested in hearing what other people thought that have seen it. My suggestion, if you want a good movie about sharks hunting down humans, go rent/buy Deep Blue Sea. IMHO, the best shark movie to date.

Deep Blue Sea was definately better than Jaws ;).

I beg to differ. :) Deep Blue Sea was a great movie, and if you're comparing special effects of DBS to Jaws, then yes, DBS is much better.

But as far as storyline, suspense, and reality goes - Jaws reigns supreme!!

Of course that's jmvho!

Well, I just think Thomas Jane is so much better looking than Richard Dreyfus!

;)

Yes, Jaws was an actually suspense. DBS wasn't.

DBS had some suspense, mainly when they were in the hallways or rooms and didn't know where the shark was.

Don't get me wrong, I like DBS, but to compare it to Jaws is like comparing Star Wars to The Attack of the Clones!!

Dwayne, I agree. I do like DBS. I just think Jaws is the ultimate shark movie and one that just can't be out done. That just may be because it came out when we were kids, and terrified us of the water!

Naw, had nothing to do with effects... I don't know, I just never really liked Jaws.
