I have a Juvenile black calvus, about an inch long. I was wondering if he'd be ok in a tank with two three inch red pecocks, and four tiger barbs? Theres plenty of rocks to hide in (just moved over a piece that has a nice nook that he likes to crawl in. Your Opinions?

50g, not sure of the exact pH, but it's the same between the two tanks. You think the tiger barbs could be a problem for the small guy? I was going to move them sometime anyways, guess now's the right time.

Yea, being small he could get nipped at. If he was larger, the barbs would be no longer.

In a 50 gallon you could easily keep 12-15 mbuna/peacocks that stay around the same size. When in small numbers, they tend to pick on each other.

Ya, I will be getting more, I got the Calvus with another Peacock together from one source. Do you think it would be alright once I move the tiger barbs? Definately agree that they tend to nip.

2 red peacock, 1 blue peacock, and then the calvus. Plenty of hiding spaces, just spend an hour wrngeling up the tiger barbs, fast little buggers.
