Opinions on Eheim Jager heaters

I need to get new heaters for my fish tanks and was thinking of going with the Eheim Jager heaters. Does anyone own one of these heaters, and do you have an opinion on them?

I own quite a few of these and I highly recommend them. With every brand of heaters, you are going to hear good and bad review but with Jager, you will hear more consistent good review than bad ones.

My experience with them is that they are very reliable.

I have one that I'll bet is older than you are! I bought it new in 1981 and it still works 100%.

i like them, used one on a DIY inline heater and had no problems with it.

Eheim makes quality products. I have one that I bought in 1991 or 1992 and it's 100% reliable.

jager is awesome, I bought half a dozen of them used and they've all been spot on.

I now have 3 of these heaters and LOVE them. Esp the ones that you have to calibrate. Much more accurate temps. I've used almost every other brand and have had problems with all of the. I esp HATE stealths.

I have a couple of them, zero problems.

They cost a bit more then the cheapo brands, but they are better built and more reliable.

IMO simply the best, unless they get made in china. then ill change my mind. but that wont happen soon.
