Diezel Einstein, Carolinyens, StarRider, Blueiz, Thanks for the info! I was not aware of either manufacturer! The Catalina fixture looks pretty solid. Eventually want to have some sore of horizontal shelf installed above the tank (may be tricky with a fully set up aquarium underneath!), so that I can hang the fixture. I'm still considering the aquaticlife - http://www.aquaticlife.com/t5ho/index.html . Anyone have experience with this fixture?
My goal will still be a realtively simple aquascape - some composition of 3-4 sp of "low light" plants, and hoping for slow steady growth, lower maintenance set up. Thinking I also will likely not be running more than half the bulbs. Thanks again for all the input. It is appreciated.
