Opps! Those aren't fish!

Turtles are nice pets jinkz, but you have to be prepared for animal you might have to leave in your will! It's not uncommon for a box turtle to live more than 100 years.

I know it! Which is why I dont have one. I was an exotic pet vet tech before I started having kids....I don't take any pet that I cannot provide a more than adequate home and realistic care.

Beautiful geckos, looking a little stiff for their age, I can tell ;). Great turtles too, how big will that baby stinkpot get? Do they smell or something (Makes you wonder with a name like stinkpot musk turtle)?

:OT: I'd love to get a russian land tortoise/box turtle, I could probably find someone I trust to take it after I'm gone, I just don't have the money or space at the moment

That is what's nice about my box turtles DP, they live outdoors all year long. They hibernate in the winter, which is nice!

Musk Turtles rarely release any musk an captivity. But if you catch a wild one, watch out! If my turtle is a male, he'll get to about 4 inches. Stinkpot's are one of the smallest species of turtles in the world.
