orange colony polyps /w trigger?

is it possible to keep polyps with my humu?
anything is possible but will it work?

Without knowing the temperment of your trigger, there's no way to say for sure. I wouldn't bet on the trigger leaving it alone forever. Our humu generally ignores the small corals on the live rock, but every now and then he flips out and chews one up.

Whats weird is I've had mine together for about 6 months and the only thing the trigger does is try to get the food from the closing polyps...greedy sob

Triggers and puffers are very well known for tasting things to death like corals and anemones. It might work short term but definetly won't work long term.
