Lots of changes in my tank since I last posted...

I currently have:

2 x Bangai Carindinals
2 x Chromis
1 x Six Line Wrasse
1 x Flame Angel
1 x Serpent Sea Star

and my newest addition is the Orange Spotted Sleeper Goby.

Since I introduced him yesterday, he dug a burrow and has not been seen since. Is this ok for these guys?

Yes that's the MO for these guys. You may not seen him for a few days. Tank looks great. Tall tanks are tough to manage but you've done a great job!

Is that a HOB skimmer? If so, what kind is it?

I never had Valenciennea sleepr gobies burrow but rather more open swimmers.
They maybe hiding trying to adjust to new home but should be out very soon roaming/vacuuming the sand, relocating sand all over the tank while siftin searching for food.
Good Luck!

Hey is that real coral..?! either way the tank looks good!

Thanks for the comments.. I do a water change every week, one large bucket full, about 1/5th of the tank..

The Sleeper Goby did come out and now has made another burrow at the front of the tank... I have attached some pictures..

The Protein Skimmer came from Big Al's Warehouse in Oakville, Ontario. I bought a cheaper one.. I couldn't remember the name, but I did a search on nano skimmer and the picture came up..

And no, it is not real coral.. I needed to fill the upper area of the tank with something, but wasn't ready for coral yet...
