Good point on the 21:11, most people dont think that way. It could easily be a problem with the film, or the transmission of the signal from them to you. I dunno.

Wow, I can't believe I got called a troll because I wasn't sure 9:11pm was supposed to the same exact thing as Sept. 11. Obviously, that was the first thing I thought of I just didn't know if I was missing something else. I don't consider time and dates to be the same thing. Secondly, most TV stations and whatnot DO use a 24 hour clock, since they are 24-hour operations. It makes it easier for them to keep things straight when they are operating all day and all night. Why does the military use 24-hour time? Or any part of the government? It prevents the potential confusion if someone substitutes an AM for a PM, since a one-letter mistake can cause a 12-hour error.
Third, a lot of these 24-hour and worldwide operations use Greenwich standard time in offical timekeeping so that they dont have errors over which time zone to use. Do you use the time zone in which the program/commercial is airing or the time zone from which it is being broadcast? Once again, a small typo about which time zone can cause big errors. They may or may not have been at 9:11:28 when they broadcast it.
I think that alot of these news programs have some wise guys in the control room.....as example...the big X placed over Vice-President Cheney's face while he was giving a speech recently.....was NO accidental thing IMVHO !!
