I think so,but not positive. This is my wifes hobby,not mine. And I know about as much about flowers,as she does keeping fish. She's the one who named my Green Terror,"Oscar" :screwy: :laugh:

Nope, phalenopsis orchids.


Lady slippers are so named cause their lips (the lower part with the forked tongue looking thing on these guys) are actually shaped like slippers. The slipper orchid group encompasses the genii Paphiopedilum (Asian), Phragmipedium (South/Central American), Cypripedium (North American), and Mexipedium, containing only a single species from Mexico.

Oh yeah, there are also the Selenipediums from Brazil.
