Do people do this and how successful is it? I've seen Liveaquaria but are there others that are better?

I have plenty of times. Just make sure they have a for sure live delivery and for sure delivery date, just make sure it's not sent through the careless USPS system. I have had numerous bad experiences with DOA fish.
