I just bought an 8" albino oscar and put it in my 100g and my 7" tiger oscar keeps chasing it around. the albinos not fighting just swimming away and hiding. This has been going on for 6 hours, i already tried taking out the tiger oscar and redecorating the tank, giving a 20% water change and turning off the lights but nothing worked. Is there any way to make my oscar stop being so aggressive? Will he get used to the albino?

Let them work it out. Sometimes the chasing/fighting can go on for a day or 2. They'll need to establish territories.

Whats the footprint of your 100?

the footprints 5"-18"-2", i'll be getting an 180g but not for months. i really dont want to have to get rid of either of them.

I concur with Rally...let it play out....maybe add some more rock work, if feasible....

seems like normal oscar behavior..you put a new fish into it's domain..and as rally said..they need to establish territories
