Ok so right now i have a 30 gal tank w/ a 3 inch gt a 4 inch common pleco and 8 feeder guppies lol I have recently
come across a 90 gal tank...getting ready to start the cycle...so heres the ? would it work if i went ahead and bought a small Oscar to
go with my terror...I plan to let the tank cycle fully and then move them

Bye the way the terror isn't aggresive at all as you can tell by the 8 small feeder guppies

No offense to anyone who disagrees but personally I think they will both have plenty of room in the 90 so thats really not the ? its for now before I move them will they be ok?

They will be fine in a 90g tank. people will cry and argue about it, but i think a 90g is sufficient enough for them. As im sure you reallize, the oscar will outgrow the GT. My GT is only about 6 inches and fully grown, ive had him for about 4 years now. But i have housed him with an oscar in the past, and they did very well together.

How big is the oscar you have or are getting?

90gal should be fine, but I would suggest buying the smallest oscar you can find. "They grow fast", as a previous reply states.
If an oscar can fit a tail in its mouth, it will eat that fish.
If your oscar grows at that kind of rate, donate it to a petstore and buy another one! Or with luck you can swap.

Is your GT stunted 6 inches is really small their average size is 10 inches or so and 12+ inches is not unheard of.

Im so glad some people agree = ) I plan on getting a tiger...I was thinking something like 2 inches but im looking for more input on the size

Thanks for all the replys so farr = )

I have yet to see a so called 12" GT, all the ones I have seen period at most have been 8-9" nothing above this, ive been to LFS's and only seen them around 8". Anyways, dont you love how people change the subject to something else, lets stick to the asked ? that he has wanted information on.

I think a 90g is fine for 1GT and 1 TO(tiger oscar) tho i have seen some oscars that were nearing the 18" mark in a LFS. Oscars can get overly big in size, if you have a GT think about maybe getting another GT and see if they'll pair off and spawn, or check into something like a couple firemouths, or a couple convicts, or both.

If I could afford a 90g i would definitely get me a mate for my Female GT, and then put my Firemouths and Cons in it all together as a community tank for them.
