Oscar bit off more than he can chew!

HAHA!!! you guys are remindming me of mine to a T.

my black tiger oscar will steal food out of spite just so the other fish dont get any. feeders are the funniest because a feeder will go by him and he will ignore it until the albino oscar (breeding pair that Im actually wating to see if I can get to succesfully spawn if you guys have had any luck let me know) sees the food and chases it, the tiger oscar then jumps infront and eats it.

I have to say for as much as oscars frustrate me in cleanup, they are comical as hell to watch. SOMEHOW they even figured out the foodbag, so they look for it when I pull it from beneath the tankand as soon as its within sight they BOLT to the top

I had a VERY large oscar eat half of a lettuce clip once. He eventually spit it out all was well. It was a little unnerving to see a fish swim around with what was clearly a portion of a clip protruding from his side.
We had a lionfish that was quite greedy and would beg for food all day. I decided it would be easier (and cheaper) to allow customers to buy a few comets to feed him than to continually throw frozen/live food in there for him. He reached the point though, that he would eat comets until he puked! He would literally throw up a handful of fish and go back to eating.
This was in a notorious college town and most people were okay with something throwing up after overconsuming. Either way, it was funny stuff.

I had a lionfish that did that kind of thing too, only after he puked up fish he would go and hide until he felt better.
