what bottom feeder would be best to be kept with two oscars (about 2-3") in a 220 that has sand substrate and driftwood

I like striped raphael cats with larger cichlids. Spotted raphaels don't seem to get as large (4-6" vs 7-9" for the stripeds). Synodontis are also a good choice, but some get aggressive as they get larger and may tend to bully your oscars. No, really — IME oscars are way less aggressive than their reputation would suggest, at least with fish more than a third their size. Another cool cat that would work is a duckbill cat (Sorubim lima). These guys aren't really bottom dwellers and will need a steady diet of small live fish, but they are impressive and very interesting animals.

More (readliy available) options:
Mystus vittatus
Larger plecos (Panaque nigrolineatus comes to mind, or even a common)
Hoplo catfish
Pimelodus sp.
Asian bumblebee catfish
Brown or black bullhead

Synodontis Eupterus is the best choice. It's also known as a Featherfin cat. I keep this with my Oscar, it gets to around 7" and makes a great clean up crew. I've also kept Raphael's which I love and currently have in my catfish tank but they always hide, the featherfin does come out during the day a little.

common plecos, larger young royals, maybe some larger clown loaches - anything that will be larger than the oscars' mouths' will be a fine choice. just remember to feed your bottom feeders, almost none of them can survive and thrive off of the oscars' scraps, even if the oscars are sloppy eaters. as cute as corydoras catfish are, they are far too small and can cause the death of any oscar who may try to eat them.
