My oscar has been sick for 2 weeks now. I fed him like 6 feeders one day and then he laid on the bottom of the tank ever since. Then one of his eyes turned cloudy white now it is red like its bloodshot, and he just looks nasty, theres a slit above his top lip and hes swimming sideways in circles like a dog chassing his tail. I have him and a small pacu in a 55 gallon tank, the tank started turning white and nasty so i did all i could do for now.... I had only one empty tank- a 30 gallon half full from a couple weeks ago, i put him in there with some stress coat, ick medicine(all i had) and a tablespoon of TABLE salt(desperate dumb last measure) When i put him in after 20 minutes he went nuts and flew from side of glass to the next and jumped a half foot out of the water. I feel bad but i didnt want him spreading disease to my pacu and pleco which there tank i had to remove half of the gravel and do a 60% water change and clean filters. What should i do is my oscar a goner? What does he have?

The ick medicine was probably a bad idea, but the salt was not and you could actually add several more tablespoons to help him out.

As for his recovery... I don't think it likely. Give him a week and see how's he doing then. If he's worsened or if his condition drops rapidly I would have to reccomend you euthanize him (read the sticky). No change is condition should warrent him another week of observation.

Man, this sounds like one of my customers, she has a fish that's been sick for months with something that sounds like what your oscar has except hers has a big open sore on it's side. She's gone to heroic lengths to try and save this fish, including giving it injections of Baytril. Try what medicines you can, and try to keep him fed to keep his strength up. If he will eat something besides live fish, give him that instead of the feeders. If not, start keeping the feeders for a few days before you give them to him and treat them with medicated food...whatever is in the feeder's stomach when they are eaten will benefit your fish too. Consider breeding your own feeder fish as well, what Victor said about feeder fish is true, I've seen examples of almost every fish disease I have ever heard of in the feeders we get at our store. It's just too risky to use them, IMO.
As much as I hate to say this, if worse comes to worse, you may have to put him down if he's suffering too much and not getting better.
