Oscar eggs?

Hello all, I awakened this morning to find these tiny little white 'dots' spread out all over a flat rock. I noticed the Tiger Oscar was guarding these 'dots' closely. Am I about to have a batch of baby Oscars soon?

Well thanks. I just hope that the Green Terrors don't decide to have ANOTHER batch at the same time. At what point should I remove the fry once they are free swimming and begin feeding them?

First four quick questions...
(1)Are the eggs white or amber colored in appearance?
White = unfertile, amber = fertile.
(2)Did you observe mating routines and nest prep?
(3)Did you observe the extended vents of the fish during mating?
(4)Have your O's successfully mated in the past, are they a confirmed breeding pair?
Two females can and often do perform all the rituals and lay eggs together, even a lone female can lay eggs.

The eggs are white. I did notice the tiger oscar picking up and spitting out rocks and they lip lock alot. As for mating in the past, they are both 11-12 inches long and they never mated before. I'm beginning to think that they are both females. How long should I wait to see if the eggs turn colors before I scoop them out? The guarding of the eggs by the Oscars are disrupting the tank.

Then the time is up. I discovered the eggs on Saturday morning and it is now Monday evening. Oh well.......

Sorry for your loss. I know the feeling to well.
I heard somewhere Oscars Mate for life. I don't know how true that is.
