uh oh today i found little oscar fry in my tank but when i tryed to get them out with the net the mom/dad bit me so what do i do. my other 120 gallon tank has piranha in it so i put up my 60 gallon tank and its got to cycle so what do i do?

Just let whatever happens happen, I wouldnt move them. Once your new tank is cycled move them in, and if they die just wait till next time and you'll be able to move them sooner. Ive had full grown oscars bite and it doesnt really hurt, just a nip basically.

congrats on the fry! let the parents raise them - you will have healthier, better quality fish in the end - alot of store bought fish are terrible parents these days due to fish farm practices of stripping eggs/fry from the parents. interesting to think that parenting is a learned skill, even in a 'simple' creature like a fish. and just like people, the parents have a huge impact on the children's parenting skills
