Its should work out, just be sure theres plently of space for the fish to hide if needed.

yeah, they COULD...but the temperment of each fish is the determining factor...you could have a sour oscar or a nice one...who knows :huh: but I think that setup would have a good chance of working out.

I agree with sublime, each fish are different. It would be good idea if you had backup plan for other fish if your plan doesn't pan out.

No idea about red devil, how about jack dempsy? green terror (not sure about red terror yet)? Oh, you have jack dempsy right?... oscar should go well with jack dempsy.
