What is the ideal pH for oscars? My reading has changed since I did a water change last night and took out carbon to add anti parasite treatment. Don't know if I should mess with the pH since tank conditions have changed anyway due to the treatment and lack of carbon. Any info on normal pH? and any advice on what to do with the pH while I am treating them? You guys rock:devil:

Don't know my tap pH. Suppose I should test that. We have well water with a water softner system. PH reading in tank was usually in the range of 7. Now reading a pretty solid 6. I know this is slightly acidic and it usually read slightly alklaine. Of course like I said. My tank has changed with the anti parsite treatment in response to possible HITH. And I did do a water change last night and there is no carbon running in the filtration. Just running my bio wheels and my canister with on a micron cartridge.
