a lot of what?..shelters?..how should i build these..what should they be made out of. should i add fake plants to the aquarium if i bury them deep in to the substrate? i was thinking of adding fake plants because the oscars arent as destructive when they are little ol babies. or should i use flower pots?

Alot of shelters you can build them out of rocks,terra cotta pot,pvc pipe,commercial made ones you can get at pet stores. You'll need to get shelters of different size. Yes you should bury them. Fake plants are ok but once they get big enough you'll need to take them out they will let you know when to do it. By the way what size tank do you have these babies in? Good luck
i found that with my oscar that i lost he liked too hide amungst rock and allsotrs off thing "warning thay will destroy anything in the tank"
