Oscar Tankmates?

Neither pacus nor oscars should be sold in "pet stores" if you ask me... Simply for the fast that they will sell someone an oscar and 10 gallon tank.

offtopic, but kind of on topic.... I was in petsmart yesterday and someone came in asking for pirhanas... of course they have pirhana, but the sales person sold them on an oscar... people need to stop impulse buying fish that they have no idea of what they're getting into. Do some research first please..... /rant

Nice thoughts, good ideas. But I will be the first to say that this will never ever happen. Would like to be positive on the subject but lets face it, people will do what they want. Also in the US at least the laws on animal abuse are about none and I can't imagine in a million years that this would change especially for fish!
