oscar vs more blood parrots?

I prefer the wild look myself, but those look cool too. When their patterns get so intricate like that they start reminding me of flowerhorns...
 
i dont think ive ever seen an adult but the juvies are pretty.

Guess I'm just the odd man out as i could never own an Oscar. They just don't do anything for me. As far as S/A cichlids, id rather do managuense, or green terror, or electric blue JD. But that's just me.
