When you asked him that, he gave you exactly what you asked for! You should have asked what fish can the Oscar be compatable with. Try other similier Cichilds from Central or South America, a few types of cats and my favorite is the Pike Cichlid, nothing smaller though.

Does anyone research fish before they buy them? Of course the oscar ate the guppies. Guppies are indeed their favorite thing to eat.
