I very much appreciate everyone's feed back i look forward to hearing more.
I am in the process of removing all the old sealent and replacing it with new stuff.(this is for my new well used 180g flatback octagon tank) I purchased the tank for $750 and have spent about another $400 on it so far. I am going to run a eheim classic filter rated for 159g and use my fluval 404 (which is currently being used in my 55g) rated for 125g I beleive this should be adaquate filtration. I should have this tank up and running around the start of next week.
As i mentioned earlier i APPRECIATE all feedback whether it be negative or positive

P.S. i will post photos of my new tank as soon as its finished.

Tues well now its wednesday 12:30am all up and running
latest update got the 180gallon up and running fish took very well to the change and no leak!!!!!! resealing the tank wasen't all that hard just have to be very patient. Well the grand total after everything has been said and done i have $1380 into a 180gallon flatback octagon tank with a fluval 404 and a eheim 2217 for filtration. A brand new corallife full spectrum light. All new substrate a few new ornaments and a couple of other small things. I will post photos of my new tank tommorrow it is 12:30am here and i am absolutly BEAT.

P.S. My 2 oscars and 2 plecos seem very very VERY happy no sulking or nothing just took to the new tank like champs. I could not be more pleased and everything went as smooth as a babies bottom

180G SETUP COMPLETE TAKE A LOOK
Well here it is setup is complete (well almost, everyone knows how it is. you are never done until the day you sell everything lol) My fish are extremely happy and i couldn't be more happy with the way things went. I hope everyone likes my new setup. As always any feed back negative or positive would be greatly appreciated

Nice tank!!!!!!!!!!
I have been keeping oscars for 7 years. I would suggest a Jag (a jack or green terror MIGHT work but in MY expeiriance, are usually much more aggressive than oscars and can sometimes be too much for even a pair of oscars although with that size tank MIGHT work) and an assortment of tinfoils, balas, or silver dollars (3 total)these will keep motion in the tank and mabey even a couple gouramis. I am setting up a 150 that will house my 2 12"o's 1 10" jag 1 14" pleco, 2 4" tinfoils and eventually a senegal birchir(when it's big enough not to fit in their mouth) hope this helps.
