Yes, I saw the other pic from a couple months ago of the oto blimp, and mine is not so huge, but it does appear to be a bit rounder than usual. I have two otos that I added to my tank about 2 months ago. Here are pics of 'her' (facing left), and also of 'him' (facing right) to compare.

They don't eat anything but available algae that I have seen.

If these are eggs, is there anything I could do to increase chances of success? It's a community tank, and unfortunately not too many plants at the moment because I killed them all (oops). I do have a java moss growing nicely though.

Just wanted to say that definately looks llike eggs. Im not sure about how they breed, hopefully some others will chime in.

Everything I have read says they are extremely difficult to breed so I'm thinking you're already ahead of the game somehow. I LOVE the look of otos cause they look like tiny sharks. I do believe plants are needed though.

Good luck raising the fry. I call dibs on the babies =)

Thanks for the replies. I wonder if it might be possible to put a divider or something in the tank. It would be cool to have little oto fry :)

WOW!!! Such neat pictures!!:) Good luck with the fry! Keep us up dated!!
