My dog is a goofball and is very vocal. She likes to "talk" and always tries to get the last word in. My girlfriend encouraged it when she was a puppy, but it has developed into a problem. She is a pitbull and it makes some people nervous because they see it as a sign of aggression. She is a very friendly dog and loves people, but it's hard to make her understand that "talking" is not always acceptable. I have been working with her to change her behavior, but it is a slow process.
The cat that we currently have is absolutely evil. It jumps onto my tanks and sticks it's paws into the water, it tries to steal food from us while we're eating, and when I pick him up to throw him outside he bites and claws me (hard enough to draw blood). Whenever I walk by him he sinks his claws into my legs and bites as hard as he can. I just got into a fight with him on my way to the kitchen.
I'm more of a dog person, but I do like cats and have had a few of them. This is the only cat that I've had that I absolutely cannot stand. We didn't choose to get a cat, this one was left on our doorstep when it was too young to have left it's mother. Maybe his behavior is related to that, but whatever the case is we cannot keep him. He will go to the shelter and will probably get adopted right away due to his nice markings, but will likely return there once they get to know him. He truly is the cat from hell!
