Our First Taste of cucumber

After reading various threads, I decided to do the right thing and feed my hillstream loaches and bristlenose pleco some cucumber. They're absolutely loving it. Here's the proof!

Thanks! Just out of interest. how long is it safe to leave the cucumber in the aquariums. Shall I leave it until it's all gone or will it make my water levels go to pot?:help:

if it were to sit in your tank and rot, it would definitely mess with your water chemistry... but i've never seen them last that long!

i'd say a couple days would be long enough for them to get their fill and for it to start turning.

I try not to leave stuff in for longer than over night. If it's nice and fresh, two nights max. You don't want it to decay in your water after all.
