Our House Renovation Has Begun and It Will Include 2 Walls With Built In Tanks

I now have a toilet in my living room. It is shared with my bedroom. We ripped out the old shower from our master bath. It was a 6' shower, and hubby is 6'4". It didn't work well. We ripped out the walls, shower and old ceiling and managed to get the new ceiling in place. Tomorrow is a mental wellness day for my hubby. He is going to relieve stress by shooting geese, and then back to work on Thursday. My son thought wearing the mask was pretty cool. It was necessary with all of the blown in insulation flying around.

Glad it is helping. My hubby says it isn't progressing fast enough for him. Thursday it is back to putting up walls & mudding. Then mudding for 2 more days after that. Hopefully we will be painting on Sunday. Once the paint is done and dry, then the tanks get to be moved. So, by the end of next week, the wall with the 2 tanks should be up and running. The trim won't be done yet, but they will be functioning. After that, we will be working on the children's new bedrooms at the other end of the house.

Wow!!!! It's gonna look awesome when it's finished, can't wait!!!
Just curious, what color are you painting the walls?

:thm:

What size are the holes in the wall? what size are your tanks?
We put a small tank in a doorway we closed off, but IT SPRUNG a leak.LOL
He is a cabby, so we just used mdf. and under it we made a cupboard for CD's etc.
Fortunately it was a slow leak and dribbled into the hallway more than the theatre room where cd;s are. It was because we did not make the tank top accessible for emptying filling and feeding etc, so I had to pull it out and push it back in alot.So being an old tank thats what did it. It was the only tank we had at the time.
Just thought I'd include a few pics, incase it inspires anyone, or anything you might not have thought about.
Good luck on your reno, cant wait to see the progress and your tanks in there :)
