Me too, Hans!

Nothin like a good chain saw demo

Now children, do NOT try this at home! You have to be a trained professional or really, really mad! The idiots who built our house had no clue. We still haven't figured out their purpose for that header being there in the first place. As you can see, the other "tank" wall has begun as well.

Looks good.

I'm sure you've already considered this, so I apologize for asking, but are you sure you're leaving enough room on top for doing routine tank maintenance?

That is going to be awesome , OH MY !!!!!!!!!!!

We are picture framing the tanks on the living room side, but on the entry way side there will be a 10" trim board on hinges to access the back of the tanks. I will need a 6' ladder to get into the top one though. On the other wall, the tank will actually be sitting in what is going to be my fish room so access to it will be easy.

That is going to be awesome , OH MY !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

That's amazing... You're so lucky to have a man around who can do that stuff! I've only recently started keeping fish, but already, I want fish tanks in my walls too!!!! :hypnotized:

He amazes me. He doesn't write anything down...no blue prints, nothing. It is all kept in his head.

One of my nephews is like that: just a natural carpenter/builder.

He's very handy. :D

Nice progress!
