Both our boys wanted black walls when they were younger, didn't happen. This choice looks good and you're right on the floor covering for his room. I put vinyl wood-looking planks on my office floor for the tanks and desk chair. Things looking good and thanks for the continued post. Good luck on all the sick folks, same thing going around here.

3- 2" X 6" topped with 3/4" plywood is what is holding the top tank up. I will try to get shots from up inside to give you an idea.

The cabinet fronts for the access side of the tanks were installed this morning. Here is a before picture and the afters. This is what you see as you first walk into our house. Disregard the date on the afters as our batteries died on the camera and we forgot to reset the date.

that tank wall has come together to be absolutely gorgeous. curious... did you guys order the cabinet doors or make them?

either way... STUNNING! the finish really does make the job. honestly i was a little apprehensive about the white gravel but it really makes it almost seamless with the wall. the wife is going to want to kill me AND you cause i'm not going to stop badgering her now. lol i can see it now... me: see honey, this is what i can do if i get permission. her: leave me alone, i have a headache. roflol...
