Our new ball python!

Yeah. Sometimes people forget that there are more than one way to do things!

You don't have to keep cocobark wet. Infact, it's much nicer than aspen. If you accidentally spill water on it (which happens ) it absorbs the moisture. Whereas with aspen, if you get it wet it molds.. :( Which can lead to a number of diseases and not to mention a stinky muggy snake enclosure.

She loves it. She hides most of the day and comes out at night and climbs on her piece of wood and she really likes to burrow in the coconut bark to. Tomorrow night is her feeding time.

Cool snake, nice set up.How long before she out grows that tank?

IDK I think she should be good in there for about another year or so. I read somewhere that the perimeter of the tank should be atleast twice the length of the snake thats in it so this tanks perimeter would be 84". So if this is true she would be good in this tank until she's about 42" long. I also read that ball pythons grow about a foot a year for their first 3 years. But if the tank is to big then the snake gets stressed out. Anyone feel free to correct me if thats wrong, but this is what I have read.

^Very true!

:D It's nice to see someone who understands snakes.

Alot of people find it cruel to keep snakes in smaller enclosures, but snakes aren't anything like other reptiles.

Your python is going to live a wonderful life. ^_^
