As an offset to the heated pitbull thread I thought I would post something more upbeat and happy about dogs:

We got Julie from Pug Rescue of New England a week ago. she came from a house when a toddler was allowed to terrorize her which caused her to have house training problems. She came to that owner after an disreputable breeder tried to breed her (she doesn't fit breed standards and therefore isn't a breeding candidate). A c-section forced the breeder to spay her making her useless to her.

This little girl has had a tough time in her 2 years but she's finally in a loving home with another little playmate.

She's still getting used to us but is mouch more comfortable with us and her surroundings after a week. I don't know how anyone could mistreat that little face.

Congrats on the new pooch Tom, she's a real cutie. So is your little terrier. May you enjoy them both for many years to come.

Aww she is adorable! What a sad life she's had but it looks like things have turned around for her. What's the name of the old dog and how does he/she like Julie?

Congrats on your new dog. She's a cutie.

I'm just curious about how she'll react when your baby's in the house and to the point of moving around the dog. I hope it will be okay, but...

Good luck.

Too cute!! My friend used to dog sit and one of her regulars was an extremely overweight pug :D !! He had no neck, and must have weighed 40lbs, but he was the sweetest

very cute doggie! (and i must say i am a little partial to the name julie! lol)

AAAWWW! PUGWARTS! That's what I call my brother's pug, Toogie. I call him Pugwarts... he's just cute as a bug and is the sweetest dog ever!

He loves my doggy cookies. I make home made doggie cookies, if anyone's interested, i'll give you the recipe!

:D

Hehe. I'm not really a small dog person (I like the large breeds), but she's is indeed adorable as far as Pugs go. It sounds like she was really in need of a good home - and it looks as if she found one:)

Aknif - I'm interested in your recipe!:)
