As an offset to the heated pitbull thread I thought I would post something more upbeat and happy about dogs:
We got Julie from Pug Rescue of New England a week ago. she came from a house when a toddler was allowed to terrorize her which caused her to have house training problems. She came to that owner after an disreputable breeder tried to breed her (she doesn't fit breed standards and therefore isn't a breeding candidate). A c-section forced the breeder to spay her making her useless to her.
This little girl has had a tough time in her 2 years but she's finally in a loving home with another little playmate.
She's still getting used to us but is mouch more comfortable with us and her surroundings after a week. I don't know how anyone could mistreat that little face.
