Our New Pooch

What a cutie!
Back yard breeders ought to be shot!! So glad the poor baby has found a good home with you.

Thanks, everybody. She's a little love. The "old" dog is our 8 month or Yorkie named Maddie. They're inseparable...usually because one of them has some part of the other in their mouth

We're a little concerned with how she'll react to a little one too. We're introducing her to neighborhood kids in a very slow, controlled way making sure the kids are very calm and gentle. We'ver got some little cousins who will come by too and also be heavily supervised with her. We want her to see that not all kids are evil :D

We figure that with our child, she'll have a while to get used to him before he can even do anything to her. We believe is strong supervision with children and dogs. Both are terribly unpredictable and capable of doing great damage to each other so they need to be watched closely. This didn't happen in Julie's previous house.

congrats Tomm, and good luck when the baby comes. It's such a wonderful thing to adopt a homeless pet and then even better when your present dog takes such a liking to them.

Heehee..my dogs abuse my kids.
Hog their beds...sit on their laps...fight over who gets to sit on who's lap or next to whom. Guilt them into giving up the sofa so they can lay on it. Steal their stuff...and pee on it when they are leaving for college. Beg to be picked up. Steal their chairs when they get up. And I might add the dogs are boxers.
