I have a 30 gallon with Black Convicts in it. How many Convicts in a 30 gal is to many?
Right now I have a pair that is both near or just over 3 inches, and 2 little ones just over an inch each.
Is this to many or can I add 2 to 4 more little ones? 3 are like the inch size 1 is barely 1/2 inch.

ok that's what I needed to know thanks so much.

If you have a pair you will soon have 300+/- fry be prepared to do some thing with them. Pet shops don't usually want them as they are so common. They bread faster than rabbits and more often.

You will need some other fish to feed the fry to.

Fry is ok here, if they survive I do have an Oscar who loves them for breakfast. So I'm not really worried about that and I also have 2 other tanks they could go into for a short time if needed.
I did take everyone else out and left just the pair in the 30 gallon and fed a few to Oscar already. Then I left another pair each about maybe an inch big in a different tank. That way if anything happens to my big 3 inch pair, I have a second pair to replace them.
