i want to convert my 90 gallon FW into a SW tank, i want it to have a sump but since the tank isn't drilled, is there any way to make an overflow without using an overflow box? is there any way to drill the tank other than the tempered bottom?

thanks

yeah, if the bottom is tempered, why wouldnt you jsut drill the side?

How does this design look? do you guys see any design flaws as far as too much water noise etc.? i will be using a Mag 7 pump with a 4.5 ft. head, so what diameter pvc should i use in order to keep up with the pump, or should i use two water returns like the picture instead of just one? and what is the difference or advantage/disadvantage between this my design of overflow and the type with an in-tank divider (like a mega-flow) with a stand pipe? also, what is the best design for the flow back into the tank, an over-the-top of the tank or should i drill holes for that too? any help greatly appreciated!!

thanks
