With the hurricane heading this way, any suggestions on keeping the fish alive with no power? Are there any products out there that will increase the oxygen in your tank?

Thanks

Battery powered air pumps-they are often available for anglers to use on live bait. Otherwise, manually stirring the tank will work.

also remember to cover the tanks,,blankets to keep the tank warm..if you arent using anything to push air through your bubbler, unhook the line and put the end from the air pump in the tank, gravity will pull the water down through the hose ..right into you pump, and everywhere else! good luck!

Plants convert nitrogen to oxygen.
I might get a good number of potted plants if I knew my power was going out.
Need to be prepared to care for the plants when the power came back though.

Hornwort tends to grow at an amazing rate, and is usually pretty cheap.

Hopefully its not a dark room. Plants would need the natural light.

Air check valve- 99 cents.....Not flooding your house-PRICELESS
