Wow, your tanks really look amazing. Amano himself would be pleased! It's obvious how much research and hard work has gone into your projects.

first pic: Suddenly my helferi started to die off and melt. Have no idea why. So I dug them out and replanted with a bunch of low light commons (2nd pic)

My Local Guppy (major fish shop chain in Japan with ADA sponsoring, but each guppy has its own mom and pop feeling) had its small aquarium and guppy breeding contest this month. Yukio-san suggested I enter my fish bowl and I did.
However on the way to the shop my layout got totally flogged with the little water I left in the bowl sloshing around causing the soil and sand to get mixed together.
As you may know, my bowl was actually thrown together with left over odds and ends, I agreed to enter it just for fun.
Amazingly, my little fish bowl came in 2nd anyway and I was surprised since some of the tanks looked like Amano himself did them. Yukio said the judges liked the idea of scaping a fish bowl and hadn't seen that before. So, its led me to want to take the art of scaping fish bowls a little deeper and more seriously(lol)
