I tossed two packs into my 150 about three weeks ago (about 10 bulbs). I have one growing so far. I've used them before so I wasn't expecting much. They're actually pretty nice Aponos once they get going though.
I've had pretty good success with the aponogeton bulbs, about 75% success for sprouting. Plus, they are really nice once they get going and flower. They seem to be the only plant I can't readily kill (says the person who has killed a java fern and java moss and water wisteria).
I haven't bought any of the apon bulbs from wally world recently, because my local store has either not had any, or the bulbs were very shriviled and moldy. Most of the bulbs I have gotten are from Petsmart sold as "betta" bulbs. Some of them are really nice, including one that has dense, multiple crowns instead of a single growth point, and another that has rather large floating leaves, but it's an aponogeton, not a lily.
