Ok, guys...I love my Pacu, he is wonderful and growing very much. I don't think I can keep him though. Right now he is in a 150g and is about 8" long and just about as round as he is long (not quite but close). I really hate to part with him but I just really think it would be best for him.

I would be willing to let someone come and get him, or would drive a short distance to give him to you, if you could provide for him. Not really into shipping him, as I have never shipped a fish before and do not think he would be a good one to start with.

I live in Taylorville, IL which is about 3 hrs south of Chicago and about 1.5 hours north of St. Louis. It takes around 45min to Springfield or Decatur.

I have to many other things going on right now and he is growing so fast, I just don't see how I can upgrade him as soon as will be required. A friends Uncle was suppose to take him for a 400g tank of his if I was unable to upgrade but he has changed his mind.

I posted him over at MFK also.

Good luck, G... I'd take him if I was closer, just have to reinforce that inflatable pool :duh:

you could always use monster fish rescue as a last resort... they have to take pacus often because of how big they get.

Thanks, I will look into that more....I know it is going to be hard to find a home for him, I wouldn't of even got him if my friends Uncle hadn't said he would take him once he was to big for me:drool:

Thanks...I think I may start calling around and see if there is any place for him.:)

Thought I'd add a couple pics, if nothing else at least for your enjoyment LOL:)

See, why I love him...he's a beaut!! I really wish I was able to keep him:cry:
