pacu in a texas lake

just saw a video of a guy catching a 20 lbs fish that apears to me to be a pacu anyway if ya want to see it it was on cnn.com

I saw that video as well, I wish people would stop and realize the damage that they are doing by releasing these fish into non-native habitats. There was a story on the news last week about a 13 inch pacu that was caught in Utah Lake, and that is at least the second time somebody has caught a pacu in that lake.

i heard about something like that happening. someone had released a pacu because it got too big for his aquarium. then someone found it and thought it was a pirahna and the lake was closed down to vacationers! those people obviously didn't know anything about aquarium-fish

LOL...hah, I thought the same thing! Can anyone say Deliverance? Poor guy has probably been ridden for that all his life!
