so im wondering where i can find an adapter to fit a regular CO2 regulator (sumo regulator) to a paint ball CO2 cylinder any help here would be appreciated.

btw the paintball CO2 cylinder has a valve on it so i can open and close it as i like just wont fit the regulator.

Grainger is a great supply house if you have one locally.i never been there for any tank needs but ive been there for all types of regs and fittings

CEEEYE i'm checking out there site now and looks like there might be one close to me but but checking online to see if thay have what i'm looking for.

Riiz i have that already it just won't fit my regulator i need to an adapter to make it so it will fit

Why do you want your regulator to fit a smaller bottle?Just go to a welding supply store and buy a bottle for your reg.

money is the issue here more than anything else if i can find something that will fit this for like $15 that would save me alot (considering a 5LB cylinder is like $117 here, and i know it's cheaper online) also this if for a small 5 galon tank so it's not like i need a big one.

I see. I'm not sure if they make reducing adapters for regulators.Check craigslist for used CO2 bottles, and it wouldn't hurt to ask at a welding supply,or a vendor supply store,to see if they have any used tanks as well.
Good Luck!

EDIT: I work in a plumbing supply store, and we carry brass compression fittings. You may need to buy 2 of them,(to reduce them enough)but if you get a female to compression male fitting, this may work for you.
