I don't have any heavily planted tanks and i don't use co2 but i was wondering if i could use my old co2 tanks (for paintball guns) in some way to inject it into a tank, is that a diffrent type of co2 or something like that would it damage fish/plants? if anyone knows anything, thanks

To answere your question yes you can but you need a regulator wich runs around $100.00. The cost of filling this is almost the same as for filling a large tank. The C02 is the same. They have diy plans on the net for this, however; you are dealing with high pressure and would not suggest it.

I am considering doing this do to space around the tank. I will be buying a large tank and then using a fill station to transfer the CO2 this will cost me a bunch though and will not happen this year if at all. If you do a search for paintball in this forum you will be able to come up with links to places to buy your regulators.

Good Luck
