pale Goldfish

I have three goldfish in a 100 litre tank, they are all active and seem well and happy; All around 15months old and growing well, however one of them who used to be bright orange has turned more silver than orange - it has an orange 'frill' left on the top of the body (head to tail) and then the rest of the body has turned into a beautiful pearlescent silver....the food I use is tetra goldfish pellets with colour enhancers, they all also really enjoy a slice of cucumber every now and again...

Do I worry about this colour change? The other two are still their usual deep orange having been through the black to orange phases at the end of last year!

Any advice appreciated, I love these three despite having two tropical tanks too! These fish were the beginning of my aquarium keeping adventure!

I wouldn't worry about the color change, 15 months is still pretty young for goldfish (they can live for decades in the right conditions) and it can sometimes take a while for their true adult coloration to come through.

it's normal for goldfish to turn color/lose color as they age.
