palytoxin question...

yea, i suck on tubes too.

top off, WC's the whole bit.

i just immediatly wash w/ vinegar if i happen to get any in my mouth.

i did that with a hose that had been sitting outside for like 6 months with SW in it.

sucked, got a bubble, sucked again, got throat and face blasted, and then got sick.....

uhhhhh that sucked.

wow guys i had no idea that zoas could be so toxic - i am in shock right now! im thinking of the times that my husband has smooshed the zoa's rocks onto the LR to get the epoxy to stick and the zoas have just ooozed out all that brown stuff into the tank. and he always has bunches of cuts all up and down his hands and arms at all times...

see me too.

its like a blue collar thing.:D

but yea, its wise to be careful i guess. i just had to pop in this thread because we were all worried over on RS yesterday.

Well, I'm feeling quite nice about these crazy gloves I bought recently. They go all the way up to my shoulders! Unfortunately, they hinder fine motor control a little bit because they gloves were one size fits all but I'm not an "all" I guess.

i have like an old person stick w/ a claw on the end i use for all but razor blading the sides and the fine tuned rock work

we have those too but only use them for moving the LR, for anything else they are just to clumsy. i think we are going to have to invest in a box of surgical gloves. sure wish i would have know i was going to get into reefing when i still worked as a vet tech, now i'll actually have to buy a box :)

I have a pair of those obnoxious blue and orange gloves too. I should probably put them up for sale because I've used them all of 5 minutes maybe. My hands are so small even a woman's small glove is loose so my hands and arms are rendered useless in those things.
