nice find. id sell ya mine but ive been told they dont ship to well.

they are an awsome fish, but they need to be kept in groups to really shine and i just couldnt afford to get more than 3 of them. ill try to get some shots of it or some video to show you mine. yours look like they are really small still. personally i find them relativly easy to keep although mine isnt active by any means so idk, but when the light hits them just right they look awsome.

which tank did you put them in???? according to all the fish that died im sure there are several empty ones right now.

hehehe yep your right a lot of tank space so i placed them in the 20gal long for now they are about an inch right now plus i am trying to talk the breeder in for a few more to make a nice colony going.. eventually they will go into the 120gal but will be eaten at the moment.. they are fine right now pretty much what you said not too active the only other fish in the tank is the lone Hecqui fry and a Juvie Transcriptus i found in my 120gal 2 days ago when i was removing my comps that was a sweet find little booger was hiding in some empty shells..

have you vented them to find the male/female ratio? and how many did you say you got?

idk if youve noticed or not but during feeding time they jet around extremely fast eating every peice of food they can find sucking it in like a vacuum. they are insane eaters

P.S. have you ever thought about doing an invert tank? i had always blew them off but im kinda starting one and they are really cool. i got me one o them "marmorkrebs" and it is fun to watch. i have tons of mts and im kinda interested in the assassin snails to eat them. im not sure if youd be interested in them but i think its a little different from all of my "strictly cichlid" tanks.

yeah i want a crayfish tank would be cool..

The Paracyps are only an inch right now and i dont want to anything to disturb them right now..

Good luck with those Paracyps, amigo!
